Donate to Green Scene Thrift

Every time you donate to us, we know you care as much as we do.

With your donations, we are able to make our community greener by limiting waste, encouraging reuse and educating about the importance of making environmentally conscious choices regarding the things we buy and use every day.

Where to donate:

You can donate your items by dropping them off at our store at 1301 E. Grandview Boulevard in Erie, PA.

If you would like a receipt for your tax-deductible donations, please drop off your donations during regular store hours and we will write you a receipt.

Why donate:

Reuse over resale value: At Green Scene Thrift we want you to know that we view your donations differently. We look at the reuse value of items, and aim to keep all that is usable here in our community.

Transparent process: We feel it is important to educate our donors about our process, and strive to be transparent so you feel comfortable donating to us. For items we can’t use, we work with other local organizations to keep as many items as possible out of the waste stream.

Minimized waste: ​​For items that we can’t accept, we try our hardest to offer viable solutions to what else can be done with them. Check out the What Happens to Donations and What We Don't Accept tabs below for more information.​
